Air Conditioning Technician; HVAC

A well-established organization in East Lynne, Pretoria is seeking a Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join their team.

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or technical training in HVAC systems
• Experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, including electrical, DX units, heat pumps, and chillers
• Certification in refrigeration transition and recovery
• County air conditioning mechanic license or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong knowledge of HVAC repair methods, tools, and materials
• Familiarity with safety hazards and precautions in HVAC work
• Proficient in diagnosing, locating, and repairing defects in HVAC systems
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for HVAC systems
• Proficient with computer software and equipment
• Ability to file work orders, write reports, and follow instructions accurately
• Strong interpersonal skills for customer and team relationships
