Ferring+You presents and informs healthcare professionals about Ferring products, obtains information from the market about the doctors’ concerns on our products, and proposes activities in his/her territory for Ferring products in compliance with ethics standards.
Your day at Ferring- Visit doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals to inform on products according to the marketing strategy and the approved frequency and number of impacts for each segment of doctor. Build and maintain relationships with these stakeholders.
- Assist to scientific congresses as determined by the company.
- Classify doctors and other stakeholders according to segmentation and targeting criteria. Propose new doctors to add to the files, changes, or removals. Track prescription habits, check consideration of our products, assess prescription potential, and evaluate influence on other doctors.
- Communicate accurate, updated information in line with company strategy about our products: use marketing material, clarify doubts and concerns, address objections, and highlight advantages compared to competitors. Ensure other departments provide necessary information to doctors.
- Gather market information on doctors’ concerns, competitors, and test our own marketing strategy and materials. Obtain information about potential public tenders, competitor launches, cost containment measures, and health authorities’ instructions to doctors, and transmit this information.
- Propose territory activities (e.g., invitations to congresses, doctors as lecturers, clinical sessions) that promote our products while complying with ethics standards and ensuring return on investment. Organize approved proposals according to the assigned target.
- Manage the assigned target to ensure return on investment.
- Provide timely updates on daily activity, upcoming plans, and present expense reports or other requested documents on time.
- Perform specific tasks or duties as requested by management.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Background in science, biology, medicine, or pharmacy.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Previous pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Own car essential.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
- Proficiency in English and an African language.
