Role Overview:
The Baker will be responsible for daily production of baked goods, ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and presentation. This is a hands-on role suited to a disciplined and detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily preparation and baking of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Ensure consistency in recipes, portioning, and product quality.
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Manage baking schedules to meet operational demands.
- Assist with stock control, ingredient usage, and waste management.
Candidate Profile:
- 2–4 years’ practical baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery environment.
- Strong technical baking skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work early hours where required.
- Formal baking or culinary qualifications are advantageous but not essential if supported by experience.
