- As a Regional Commercial Manager, your role is to spearhead the implementation of ancillary revenue strategies and oversee the operational delivery of service-based product commercial initiatives within your region. These initiatives include Personal Training, Health Professional services, Swim, Kids, and other emerging ancillary product offerings. Your primary objective is to ensure the delivery of exceptional member experiences, drive revenue growth, and cultivate a high-performing team.
- You are committed to elevating the customer social wellness experience and focused on customer retention through the performance of Personal Trainers, Swim Coaches/Instructors, and other professionals
Commercial Performance
- Drive commercial performance through effective margin and cost management.
- Monitor key metrics such as revenue growth, member retention, and service utilization.
- Lead the execution of ancillary revenue streams, ensuring seamless operational delivery.
- Oversee service-based commercial initiatives, including Personal Training, Health Professional services, Swim, Kids, and other evolving offerings.
- Ensure best-in-class member experiences by optimizing service delivery and engagement.
- Focus on enhancing the social wellness experience for members, fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing Personal Trainers, Coaches, and Health Professionals.
- Ensure continuous professional development and performance optimization of your team.
- Ensure member-facing propositions like inductions and digital coaching products are fully optimized.
- Maintain consistent engagement and operational integration through Flexer.
- Margin Management:
Optimize margins by managing costs effectively and maximizing revenue from ancillary services. - Cost Management:
Implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability. - Recruitment and Retention:
Attract and retain top talent in Personal Training, Coaching, and Health Professional roles. - Ancillary Demand:
Marketing material and partnerships are appropriately used to generate demand and ensure commercial growth within clubs and regions. - Key Metrics:
Focus on key performance indicators such as revenue growth, member retention, service utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- National Certificate in Fitness or equivalent
- 5+ years’ leadership experience in the fitness and wellness industry
- 3+ years managing commercial KPIs, including PT services and revenue streams
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with data fluency
- Proven experience in high-volume recruitment, onboarding, and coaching team performance
- Proficiency with operational and reporting systems (Flexer or equivalent)
- Strong influencing, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement ability
