About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and a curious Intern Developer to join our growing tech team. You’ll work closely with product and design to build features in React and extend our systems using Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and Zoho Desk. This role is perfect for someone excited about learning fast and growing with a company disrupting the communications space for African businesses.

• Build and maintain UI components using React (web and mobile).
• Assist in customizing and integrating Zoho apps (CRM, Books, Creator, Desk, etc.).
• Write clean, maintainable code and support bug fixing and testing cycles.
• Collaborate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retros.
• Assist in documenting technical tasks and contribute to Zoho Learn where applicable.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support to internal teams using our platforms.

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, and REST APIs.
• Exposure to or interest in Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, or other Zoho tools.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow development and ticketing processes (e.g., Zoho Sprints).
• Passion for building software that solves real business problems.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Experience with Zoho Deluge scripting or custom functions.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, Zoho Projects/Sprints, or similar tools.
• Previous internship or freelance experience building apps or automation.
