VACANCY: ICT Support Engineer
Location:
Pretoria / Johannesburg (Verskeie persele);
Salary: R15,000 per maand;
Commencement Date: 23 Februarie 2026.
Ons is op soek na 'n energieke ICT Support Engineer om kliënte in die Pretoria- en Johannesburg-omgewing by te staan. Die ideale kandidaat is 'n selfgedrewe probleemoplosser wat passievol is oor tegniese uitnemendheid en kliëntediens.
We are seeking an energetic ICT Support Engineer to assist clients in the Pretoria and Johannesburg areas. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated problem solver passionate about technical excellence and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support:
Attending to and closing Help Desk tickets in a timely manner (Remote & On‑site). - Hardware & Software:
Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service personal computers, servers, notebooks, and related technical equipment. - Networking:
Configuring routers, switches, Access Points (APs), and installing network cabling (CAT6) when required. - Customer Service:
Analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedules, and resolving customer complaints on‑site. - Maintenance:
Managing all on‑site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, including multifunctional copiers.
- Language:
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Read, Speak, and Write). - Qualifications:
Grade 12 and a minimum of 3 years experience as an IT Technician. - Logistics:
Valid Code 08 Driver’s license and reliable transport. - Skills:
Ability to perform under pressure.
- PC/laptop hardware components and troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Operating Systems (Win 7, 10, 11) and Microsoft 365 / Office applications.
- Cloud storage applications (Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive).
- Basic network configurations (DHCP, DNS, NTP, Port Forwarding).
- Mikrotik Router basic setup (LAN, Wireless).
- IP printer and VOIP phone setup.
- Advanced knowledge of Mikrotik devices and Unifi Access Points.
- Yealink / Grandstream VOIP-fone.
- Veselnetwerke (Fibre) and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Positive attitude and honesty.
- Self‑starter who takes responsibility.
- Solution‑oriented and dedicated to self‑development.
- Working week:
Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00). - Support:
Weekdays until 18:00;
Saturdays (08:00 – 14:00). - Leave: 1 day per 17 days worked.
- Medical leave: 30 days in a 3‑year cycle.
- Family leave: 3 days per leave cycle.
