Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts and sole proprietors.

Skills, Competencies and Experience Required:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Statement Preparer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling accurate, compliant, and insightful financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SAICA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements for a portfolio of clients using Case Ware or similar software.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS for SMEs, full IFRS, Companies Act, and other relevant regulations.

• Liaise with auditors, clients, and internal teams to gather and verify supporting documentation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements and SAICA standards.

• Assist in the review and quality control of financial statements prepared by junior staff (if applicable).

• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools.

Minimum Requirements

• SAICA Articles completed

• BCom Accounting / BTech or equivalent qualification.

• Proficiency in Case Ware and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS / IFRS for SMEs.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Excellent communication and time management skills.

• Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
