Position: Resident Engineer(s)

Overview

Hire Resolve is currently seeking experienced Resident Engineers to join our client’s team in Pretoria.

The Resident Engineers will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing engineering projects in Pretoria. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are looking to enhance their career and contribute to the development of infrastructure in the area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery on time and within budget
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers
  • Review and approve engineering designs and plans
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical issues that may arise
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Prepare and submit project reports and documentation

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer
  • QA/QC of Civil Construction Projects – Tailings Storage Facilities, Pollution Control Dams, Pipelines, Pump stations, HDPE Lining Projects
  • Proficient in engineering software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
