Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our client’s team in Pretoria. The Senior Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale electrical projects from conception to completion. This includes coordinating project teams, managing project budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical project management and a strong technical background in electrical engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians.

Develop and implement project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.

Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.

Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.

Manage project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

At least 10 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in the construction industry.

Registered with SACPCMP as a Pr. CPM, or Pr. Eng. Or Pr. Tech. (Compulsory)

Pr Eng ;
Pr. Tech Eng;
Pr. Techni Eng; etc (Engineer, Technologist, Technician)

PMP certification is highly preferred.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
