Objective of the job:
Responsible to actively drive, support, advise, monitor and report supply chain and stock management processes, from ordering to the delivery of the final product, in line with Divisional Key Performance Indicators and optimization initiatives. To continuously monitor and evaluate the Stock & Distribution process in terms of ordering (Agent, stock, rental, etc.), production allocation and production shifts. Monitoring of local and overseas systems in compliance with the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery codes, Conflict of interest Policy and SHE requirements.
Main Tasks:
- Monitor and ensure the factory ordering of all MBC vehicles upon receipt of a signed and approved order sheet from Sales Planning.
- Place orders timeously before freeze dates and delivery within agreed timelines.
- Update stakeholders regarding order status, code restrictions and option code additions.
- Place stock orders in accordance with the specifications as per the Product Specification parameters and in line with the Vehicle Ordering Committee approval.
- Orderbook and inventory:
Management of orderbook and inventory levels of MBC vehicles. - Monitor and report on the distribution process in terms of orders, optimal vehicle availability, effective fulfillment of customer orders, optimal inventory levels and efficient cancellation and reallocation for all model ranges.
- Provide high quality Kufri and Product mix input in conjunction with Sales Planning, to support the achievement of stock reach targets.
- Stock Management:
Management of incoming stock, stock holding and agent stock. - Ensuring optimal channel and planning mixes are in place to grow overall sales in the market.
- Optimized Vehicle visibility & management of Agent Matrix allocations driven by comprehensive vehicle data and inventory levels at the Agent network.
- Reporting:
Report accurately and timeously on MBC Supply Chain KPI's and generate management summaries in order to manage exceptions and to steer the business to target achievement. - Reporting on stock and incoming orders & development of new and improved reporting.
- Ad-Hoc stock management reports to enable timely and accurate stock-related decisions.
- Customer Satisfaction:
Monitor and update maintenance tables and the calculation of customer delivery dates in order to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and service levels.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Global Ordering
- SWT SAP
- Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Advanced PowerPoint, Advanced Word)
- Sound MBC Product Knowledge
- STS & VX systems knowledge
Experience:
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Matric + NQF L4 - National Certificate
- NQF L6 - Diploma / Advanced Certificate
