About the RoleOur client is looking for a passionate, tech-savvy Distribution Consultant to grow and support their intermediary network across Gauteng and the Western Cape. The role focuses on building strong adviser relationships, expanding distribution channels and enabling brokers to succeed through training, tools and product support.
Requirements and ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Build, grow and maintain strong relationships with financial advisers and intermediaries
- Identify, onboard and mandate new brokers to expand the distribution footprint
- Support advisers with sales tools, quotations and benefit statements
- Deliver product training and ongoing support to enhance adviser performance
- Manage key partnerships and stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in long-term insurance as a Broker Consultant or IFA (flexible)
- RE5 and/or RE1 qualification
- Financial Planning qualification and/or relevant undergraduate degree
- Strong sales, relationship management and lead generation capability
- Excellent communication skills with a confident, professional presence
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and MS Office
- Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel, with a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
