Role Description

We are seeking to employ a well-organized

Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Professional / Legal Advisor or Specialist / Verification Analyst. The ideal candidate should be a team player as well as an individual performer that is willing to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

A BEE Professional / Verification Analyst or Specialist advises businesses on B-BBEE compliance by assessing their current status, developing and implementing improvement strategies, and preparing documentation for verification. They guide clients through the verification process to help achieve and maintain optimal B-BBEE levels in line with legislation and business objectives.

• LLB/BCom/BA Law or other similar qualification or extensive experience in the field of B-BBEE legislation and compliance is a must.
• Admission as an attorney will be advantageous.
• Knowledgeable on the B-BBEE Codes and Sector Codes.
• Fully computer literate.
• Numerical proficiency.
• Strong administrative and excellent communication skills.
• Preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• The candidate must be able to work under pressure.
• Self-starter with a high level of integrity and accountability.
• Must have own reliable transport.

• Consult with portfolio of clients on BEE requirements, BEE targets and overall BEE needs.
• Guide clients to implement BEE strategies effectively.
• Prepare preliminary rating for clients before verification.
• Prepare verification files for clients for submission at external Verification Agencies and manage verification process.
