A position has become available for a committed individual to join Life Groenkloof Hospital as an Admission Clerk
, reporting to the Reception Supervisor
.

Critical Outputs

Responsible for accurately recording all admissions of patients to the hospital.

Carrying out accurate admission and receptionist duties for the hospital.

Performing general administration duties involved in the admission of patients,

Including filing and assistance with billing of accounts.

Admitting patients onto Impilo.

Operating the switchboard.

Handling money.

Liaising with medical aids to obtain authorisation for admission

Requirements

Matric Certificate will be required.

Previous experience working with Impilo and IMEDS will be an advantage.

Must be computer literate and have excellent typing skills

Fully bilingual and have good communication skills. Reliable, motivated, committed and hardworking.

Ability to work under pressure and be professional and polite at all times.

Accurate handling of cash and trustworthy. (ITC check will be performed).

Must be figure orientated with attention to detail.

Previous experience in the medical field will be an advantage.
