Remuneration: R25,000 – R40,000 per month
A reputable and well-established Audit and Accounting firm based in Ashlea Gardents is seeking an Accountant to join their Accounting Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional looking to grow within a structured and professional firm environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed SAIPA or AGA articles will be beneficial.
- Solid working knowledge of:
- Financial statements
- Income tax
- SARS returns including PAYE and VAT
- Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Matric certificate must be included with the application
Please note:
There is no age restriction for this role. Mature and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full accounting function for a portfolio of clients
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Submission and management of SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
- General accounting and compliance-related duties
- Liaising with clients and internal teams as required
- R25,000 – R30,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
