Introduction

A well-established audit and accounting firm in Lynnwood, is seeking an experienced Professional Accountant to join their dynamic team

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• Ensure full compliance with SARS, Companies Act, and relevant accounting and tax legislation.
• Prepare and review management accounts, annual financial statements, and supporting working papers.
• Provide professional advice to clients on accounting, tax, and business matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure excellent client service delivery.
• Assist with workflow management and support junior staff through coaching and technical guidance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the Accounting and Advisory department.
• Uphold the firm’s standards of professionalism, ethics, and teamwork at all times.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualification:

• Completed SAIPA Training contract.
• BCom Accounting or relevant degree.
• Registered with SAIPA as a Professional Accountant.

Experience:

• 2 - 5 years post-articles experience in accounting and tax compliance.
• Experience in client portfolio management and preparation of annual financial statements.

Competencies:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and review skills.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Own vehicle with license.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professional ethics in all interactions.
