Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Administrator based at Enhanced Intermediate Care Team in South Ayrshire, based at Biggart Hospital.

What You Will Do

You must be flexible and enthusiastic, you will provide a comprehensive administrative service for the Enhanced Intermediate Care and Rehabilitation Service. Excellent organisational skills and inter-personal skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and knowledge of the health service, medical and therapy terminology is advantageous.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

This is a demanding role, which requires discretion, tact and diplomacy, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and disciplines. You should have relevant IT qualifications (ECDL) experience, keyboard skills and previous NHS experience is desirable for this post. Knowledge of TRAKCARE, EMIS Web, Carefirst and SCI Gateway are also desirable, although full training will be provided.

Hours

37 hours per week Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am - 5pm.

You will be required to work 5/7. Weekend working: 1 weekend in 5 (3.75 hours AM both Saturday and Sunday)
