GE Caledonian is a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business operating in the technology‑driven aviation sector. We are seeking an NPI Leader to work within the Engineering Team and collaborate across all business areas—introducing the latest technology, adding value to our strategy, and industrialising new repairs.
Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Engineering Leader, the scope includes business case creation, project management, and execution of new component introductions and repair industrialisation. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Strategy and Lean teams to optimise processes while meeting all quality system, engine manual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Champion safety, quality, delivery and cost deliverables for the site.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement and adoption of Lean principles.
- Manage the NPI team’s performance to meet Key Performance Indicators.
- Provide coaching to develop team members’ skills and experience.
- Collaborate with Repair, Cost and Productivity Leaders to identify suitable component repair and accessory industrialisation projects, justifying business cases through data‑driven evaluation.
- Work with Special Process Owners Assessment and Engineers to evaluate repair development requirements, managing multiple projects to completion on time and within budget while complying with GE Aviation Management of Change requirements.

- Integrate into the project funding approval process.
- Evaluate costing for new NPI repairs in coordination with the costing team to include real cost in the Component Repair Directory.
- Participate in the site’s general engineering activities and daily shop management structures. Assume responsibility for the Tooling and Calibration teams as part of the role.
- The role’s scope may evolve as the successful candidate’s knowledge and experience grow.
- Experience in MRO engineering and/or project management.
