Overview
Join an ambitious Digital Health Service driving transformation across Lancashire & South Cumbria. Our programmes are modernising care pathways, improving patient and staff experience, and enabling smarter, connected ways of working. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Project Management Team within Digital Health. We are seeking a motivated, well‑organised Digital Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of digital‑enabled change across Lancashire and South Cumbria’s clinical services.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Digital Project Manager, this role is part of the programme delivery team, working closely with Digital Health Leads, clinical teams, managers, business analysts, and external partners to deliver key digital initiatives. The role also includes line management and mentoring of Digital Junior Project Manager(s). The Digital Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex digital projects, creating and managing robust project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
The role includes establishing effective processes to track progress, report risks and deviations, and outline mitigating actions to the Digital Health Lead and Programme Team. The post‑holder will maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle and coordinate delivery across multiple networks and localities, ensuring high‑quality outcomes within agreed timescales and budgets.
You will bring experience in delivering and enhancing Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and related digital technologies, such as mobile apps, telemedicine platforms, wearable devices, and AI tools. You will also have experience managing complex infrastructure and software upgrades for critical systems, ensuring data security and integrity, and supporting the safe mobilisation and de‑mobilisation of clinical services, including secure data transfer.
