As a Catering Assistant working across schools in the Ribble Valley and Preston area, you’ll enjoy term‑time only hours, with no evening, weekend or school holiday shifts – perfect for fitting around your lifestyle. This is a permanent, part‑time position with a guaranteed 16.25 hours per week. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Salary £12.60 per hour.

• Support various school kitchens by preparing, cooking, and serving healthy, balanced meals.
• Help set up and clear down the dining area, including moving and arranging furniture.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all catering areas and equipment.

• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Great customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments.
• Experience in catering or food preparation (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

• Monday to Friday – 3.25 hours per day.
• 16.25 hours per week – term time only.
• Travel across Ribble Valley and Preston required (mileage allowance paid).
