REGISTERED CARE HOME MANAGER

Full-time Permanent Preston

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established healthcare provider for an experienced and motivated Registered Care Home Manager to lead a specialist nursing service in the Preston area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and driving continuous improvement within a regulated care environment.

The Service

Our client operates a specialist nursing service supporting residents with varying levels of dementia and general nursing needs, offering a structured, supportive, and clinically focused environment.

The Role

As Registered Care Home Manager, you will have full accountability for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and strong team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

Overall operational and clinical leadership of the service
Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
Managing staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance
Overseeing the development, implementation, and review of care plans
Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team
Driving quality improvement and supporting strategic development

The Ideal Candidate
Ideally a Registered Nurse with previous care home management experience
Proven ability to manage and lead teams within a regulated care setting
Strong knowledge of CQC compliance and governance
Confident, adaptable, and commercially aware
Holds a full clean UK driving licence, including N1 entitlement, and able to drive for business purposes
