Overview

Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Structures Stress Engineer in Samlesbury on a 3-4 day per week onsite basis.

This advanced manufacturing business is looking for a Stress Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team on a 12 month contract. The role supports innovation and creativity with varied daily tasks around the F35 programme.

• Support the F35 programme by analysing design changes and validating analysis from test results.
• Assist in the clearance of non‑conformances on the shop floor and in‑service repairs.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of two or more Engineers focused on specific tasks for the F35 programme.

• Knowledge of a variety of stress analysis methods, applied to lightweight airframe structure.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (desirable).
