The role requires an enthusiastic, community‑focused HAF Facilitator to support the delivery of our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, which provides enriching activities and healthy meals to children and young people eligible for benefits‑related Free School Meals. You will work closely with district councils, local providers, families, community partners and the wider HAF team to ensure the programme runs smoothly and inclusively across Lancashire’s 12 districts.
Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in delivering Holiday Activities and Food to children and young people eligible for benefits‑related Free School Meals.
- Build effective and purposeful relationships with Lancashire’s district councils to strengthen and champion the delivery of HAF across local communities.
- Act as a proactive advocate for the programme within Family Hubs and the wider community, ensuring inclusive, high‑quality provision.
- Support the development of specialist SEND opportunities so all children and young people can participate meaningfully.
- Conduct quality assurance visits and promote consistent standards in activity delivery.
- Collect attendance data, gather feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and equality, modelling inclusive practice and supporting every child and young person to thrive.
