Overview

Clegg's Chilled Food Service, based in Preston, supplies a wide range of quality catering products, catering to public sector contracts such as hospitals, schools, colleges, and universities. Additionally, we serve wholesale partners and direct end users. Renowned for our first-class service, Clegg's acts as a one-stop shop for everyday chilled and ambient goods. Our specialties include cheeses, English and continental cooked meats, bacon, sandwich fillings, dairy products, and canned goods.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Account Manager position is based in Longridge. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and building client relationships, managing accounts efficiently, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Daily activities include communicating with clients, resolving inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with internal teams, and improving service delivery to meet client needs.

• Experience in Account Management, Client Relations, and Customer Service
• Strong Communication, Interpersonal, and Negotiation Skills
• Ability to Analyze, Plan, and Organize Effectively
• Proficiency in CRM tools and general computer skills, including MS Office
• Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work under deadlines
• Knowledge of the food service or catering industry is a plus
• A proactive and positive approach to meeting targets and achieving results
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
