• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and offers according to company policy.
• Adhere to company's cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
• Comply with all applicable laws and company guidelines.
• Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity, and follow directions to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
