Responsibilities:

- Handle cash transactions, ensuring that all money is accounted for and proper change is given.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with bagging and packaging customer purchases as needed.
- Understand and promote store loyalty programs and promotions.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security measures to minimize the risk of theft or error.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent math skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of basic computer functions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds).
