Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per 4-week schedule)

• Holiday requirement includes working Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day)

• Patient ratio of 1:5 with 49-bed unit capacity

• First to float designation - may float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified

• Required to pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts with 80% score prior to contract signing

• Must interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift

• One shift of unit orientation provided

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Cerner charting system experience recommended

• Care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, post-catheterization, and total joint replacement

• Experience required with basic telemetry strip reading, CVA/TIA, and total joint replacement

• Handle set-rate Diltiazem/Cardizem drips (no titration required)

• Work with respiratory equipment including BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments

• Self-scheduling used with manager balancing for final schedules

• 3 shifts per contract cancellation policy
