Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full‑time outpatient Orthopedic Advanced Practitioner to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ.

  • Ability to see patients in clinic, round on hospital patients and possibly assist in surgery as needed.
  • Typical work week is 40 hours.
  • Procedures:
    Total knee, total hip, shoulder, ORIF's, Trigger Finger, Toe amputation
  • No call, 4×10‑hour days, assist in inpatient rounding.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has excellent clinical skills.
  • Is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients.
  • Is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona.
  • Is board certified or board eligible in their specialty.
  • Demonstrates a work history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital‑based providers, administrators and patients.
  • Demonstrates advanced competency in their specialty.

Job Requirements
  • Completed an accredited PA/NP program.
  • Ortho Training is preferred.
  • 2+ years experience.
  • Current Board Certification.
  • Valid medical license.
  • Valid DEA certificate.
Where You'll Work

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full‑time outpatient Orthopedic Advanced Practitioner to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ. Under direction from the CMO, the candidate provides patient care in an outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases, performing patient exams, ordering or conducting diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease‑management plans. In this role, the candidate will also prescribe medication and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early‑detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts.

Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.
