* The Director of Admissions & Enrollment reports to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management and provides district-wide leadership and supervision of enrollment academic advisors and front-line admissions specialists. These teams support prospective students and families through career exploration, educational planning, and first-semester enrollment.
The Director leads the development and execution of a comprehensive admissions and enrollment strategy that advances Yavapai College's goals for access, persistence, and completion. This role uses CRM tools and data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and guide strategic and continuous improvement efforts.
The Director collaborates with academic and student affairs partners to ensure a seamless, student-centered onboarding experience aligned with institutional priorities for student success.
Description of Responsibilities
* Develops strategic, data-driven admission and enrollment goals with the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management
* Presents and analyzes data regarding student admission and enrollment, academic advising to assess status toward goals, areas of concern, and relevant trends
* Oversees new student orientation
* Develops and maintains a student-centered case management process for admission and enrollment teams
* Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and data analysis to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
* Supervise, train, and coach admission specialists and enrollment academic advisors.
* Leads the admission and enrollment advisors in developing outreach and recruitment initiatives that help achieve strategic enrollment goals
* Collaborates with the Director of Recruitment, Director of Early College and Director of Advising to ensure a seamless transition of students
* Develops a comprehensive training for Admission and Enrollment Advisors that focuses on a student-centered experience
* Manages department budget
* Leads change in people, structures and processes that move the department to an outward focused mindset
* Works with student affairs leadership team to achieve a healthy work environment focused on relationship excellence, learning excellence, and service excellence.
* Collaborates with academic deans, faculty, and other college staff to ensure consistent advising practices and cohesive communication to students.
* Ensures that all strategic plan goals are attained
* Bachelor's degree in higher education, student affairs, education, business, or a related field
* Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in admission, enrollment management, academic advising, or a closely related higher education function
* Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional staff, including front-line admissions or advising teams
* Experience using CRM systems, student information systems, and data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making
* Master's degree
* Knowledge of Arizona transfer articulation
* Knowledge of Yavapai College degrees, certificates, and career pathways
