Position OverviewThe full‑time Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, budgeting, and execution of electrical construction projects. The role works closely with Estimators, Superintendents, Foremen, and stakeholders to drive project success.
Responsibilities- Lead and support project teams through all phases of execution, from planning to close‑out.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Allocate and manage resources, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Track project budgets, monitor expenses, and support cost‑control efforts.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and records.
- Prepare and present regular status updates for internal and external stakeholdersli>
- 1–3 years of experience in project management within electrical construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience assisting on electrical projects ranging from $1M to $10M.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore). li>Solid knowledge of industry codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving ability and decision‑making under pressure.
$75,000 – $95,000 per year
