Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in a clinic setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood, performing specimen processing, and ensuring the proper collection, entry, and preparation of biological specimens for analytical testing. This position requires adherence to the Code of Conduct and involves both pre and post-analytical testing responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
- Ensure proper entry of specimens into the computer system.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.
- Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times.
- 1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience required
- Comfortable working in a team environment.
- Proficiency in blood draw, specimen collection, laboratory practices, and phlebotomy.
- Experience with specimen processing and patient care.
Skills & Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma required.
The position is based in Prescott, AZ, working Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. You will be part of a team of phlebotomists in a Patient Service Center (PSC) setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prescott Valley, AZ.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
