Technician, Allied Health

Overview

The Part-Time Casual Allied Health Technician provides instructional, laboratory, and clinical support to the Allied Health Department at Yavapai College. This position supports faculty and students in hands-on learning environments by assisting with laboratory preparation, equipment management, student skill practice, and maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant learning environment. The role is casual and part-time, with hours varying based on program and departmental needs.

• Provide instructional, laboratory, and clinical support to the Allied Health Department in hands-on learning environments.
• Assist with laboratory preparation, equipment management, student skill practice, and maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant learning environment.

• Recent experience in a nursing or allied health field (e.g., nursing, medical assisting, phlebotomy, or related discipline)
• Basic knowledge of clinical skills, medical equipment, and infection control practices
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively with faculty, staff, and students

• Certification or Licensure in a nursing or allied health field
• Experience working in an educational, laboratory, or clinical training environment
• Familiarity with simulation equipment and instructional lab setting
