Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.00 USD per hour
Target On-Demand Team Members create their own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Shifts vary based on store needs. Attendance and responsiveness to scheduling requests are essential. A shift must be picked up at least every 4 weeks (minimum four hours). If no shift is worked within 5 months, employment may be terminated.
Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule are required for offered positions. The myTime app is used to pick up shifts after training.

- Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming experience for guests as you work.
- Engage with guests to understand needs and resolve concerns; be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve the guest experience.
- Assist guests with purchases, returns, and inquiries; handle checkout and bag items efficiently and in line with safety standards.
- Inform guests about current brand launches, store activities, and events; promote loyalty programs and fulfillment services; assist with enrollment and activation as needed.
- Explain and demonstrate Target App features (Wallet, etc.) and guide guests on using Target Wallet and other services.
- Process orders for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests; maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
- Maintain safety, ethics, and compliance; follow safety policies and report hazards.
- Support guest services (OPU, Drive-Up Orders, DU Returns) and cash office processes as needed; comply with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage requirements where applicable).
- Execute other duties based on business needs.
- Effective communication and guest service skills; ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services; ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Accurate cash handling and willingness to assist with cash office operations as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and bending.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
