Material Handler

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods between designated storage, production, and shipping areas using appropriate Material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Accurately receive, label, and store incoming materials in accordance with inventory and material control procedures.
• Pull, stage, and issue materials for production orders or customer shipments based on picking instructions or job travelers.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of materials prior to movement or staging.
• Ensure proper rotation of stock (e.g., FIFO) and segregation of nonconforming or quarantined items.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP system D365 through data entry or scanning.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as assigned.
• Identify and report any damaged, mislabeled, or nonconforming materials.
• Support packaging, loading, or unloading operations as needed.
• Adjust inventory locations or bins in WMS/ERP within their user-level access, based on assigned responsibilities.
• Label, quarantine, or segregate nonconforming inventory as directed by Quality or Supervision.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Familiarity with basic inventory principles (e.g., FIFO, stock rotation).
• Ability to use handheld scanners or basic ERP/WMS systems.
• Be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety guidelines.

• Minimum of six months of warehouse, logistics, or Material handling experience preferred.
