Americare Senior Living is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Director of Medical Records (RN) to lead and oversee the health information management function within our healthcare community. In this role, you will plan, develop, and administer a comprehensive medical records system that ensures accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and accessibility of resident health information.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge, regulatory expertise, and a passion for documentation integrity, quality outcomes, and operational excellence.

The Director of Medical Records (RN) is responsible for planning, developing, and administering the facility’s health information system in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accrediting agency standards.

This role oversees the documentation, storage, retrieval, and release of medical records; supervises medical records staff; and ensures timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation. The Director of Medical Records collaborates with nursing leadership, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support quality care, reimbursement accuracy, risk management, utilization management, and survey readiness.
