• Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 3 shifts per week schedule
• Weekday shifts with some weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• May float to ER, ICU, and LDRP units as needed
• Care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients including post-operative joint replacements
• Required certifications: BCLS; ACLS preferred for small hospital setting
• Essential skills include IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and charge experience preferred
• Must have TRUBRIDGE (formerly CPSI) EMR experience as required by director
• Kansas state license or compact license required at submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Orthopedic experience with total hips and knees preferred, rural health experience a plus
• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Handle various procedures including wound care, blood product administration, central line management, and isolation precautions
• First time travelers and local candidates accepted
• One reference required for submission

This regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing medical and surgical services to the community. The hospital operates as a small facility with 23 beds and 20 rooms, maintaining a daily census of approximately 12 patients. The facility offers specialized care for post-operative joint replacements and general medical patients, supported by full interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory care, radiology, and pharmacy services.
