Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts

• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP as needed

• Medical surgical unit focusing on med surg, orthopedic, and general surgery patients

• Provide care for post-operative joint replacement and medical patients

• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of approximately 12 patients with 20 rooms and 23 beds

• Tru Bridge (formerly CPSI) EMR experience required

• Kansas state or compact license required

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required

• BCLS certification required, ACLS preferred

•

Skills required:

IV starts, telemetry monitoring, charge experience preferred

• Experience with total hips and knees procedures preferred

• Rural health experience preferred

• First time travelers and local candidates accepted

• Must complete approximately 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start

• One reference required for submission

This regional medical center is a community hospital providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the local area. The facility operates with 23 beds and offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. As a smaller hospital setting, the facility provides opportunities for nurses to work closely with various departments while gaining diverse experience in medical-surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patient care.
