Housekeeper DC

Overview

Sun - Wed 11am- 9:30pm. The Housekeeper must have physical stamina and strength to perform the various duties in the Distribution Center. They assume responsibility for all janitorial duties and maintain cleaning supplies inventory. They ensure good housekeeping and follow safety procedures.

• Performs all janitorial responsibilities: vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, and offices.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies, towels, soap, trash bags, etc.
• Ensures good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
• Operates floor scrubber.
• Maintains trash removal from breakrooms, restrooms, and offices.
• Assists and cross trains in distribution departments upon request.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years old.

• No travel is required for this role.

• Regular standing, lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, cleaning difficult to reach places using a step ladder as needed, reaching with hands and arms, crouch or crawl, with repetitive motions. Ability to work in elements such as heat and cold. Able to stand on hard surfaces for duration of shift.

• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
