Position Summary

Line Cook is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in executing dishes with consistency, speed, and style. Our Line Cook is passionate, looking to grow, be creative, and be part of a team that’s raising the bar on elevated lounge dining. They maintain top-tier food quality and safety standards and help make Lani a standout culinary destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and plating guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked station throughout service
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours
  • Always uphold food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with prep tasks and contribute to mise en place as needed
  • Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution
  • Support seasonal menu rollouts and contribute ideas for specials or features
  • Help with deliveries, inventory, and making sure we are always service ready
Qualification
  • 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen workflows
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
  • Team‑oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Deep understanding of local food trends and hospitality standards
  • Serv Safe or equivalent certification preferred
  • Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and seasonal programming
  • Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
