As a Yard Specialist at Liberty Landscape & Building Supply, you play a vital role in supporting daily yard operations by ensuring materials are safely organized, loaded, and maintained for customers and contractors. This position is hands‑on and involves physical activity, outdoor work, equipment operation, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.
HOURS- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–5:00 PM during peak season (March–November)
- Overtime available as business needs require
- Reduced hours during the off‑season (December–February)
- Load customer and delivery truck materials such as stone, pavers, mulch, and other building supplies.
- Pull all customer orders for walk‑in, pickup, and delivery orders.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and organize inventory (training provided if needed).
- Assist customers and drivers with loading orders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard, including stacking products and empty pallets, sweeping, and general upkeep.
- Conduct inventory counts and report shortages or damaged materials.
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions year‑round.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and operate forklifts/equipment (certification training provided).
$20–25 per hour
