Store Operator is responsible for managing and operating the HOMAG intelli

Store storage and retrieval system to support production needs in a millwork manufacturing environment. This role includes reading and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work order pick lists, ensuring accurate machine setup and operation, monitoring output quality, and assisting with inventory related to materials and finished components. The Operator plays a key role in maintaining efficient workflow, accuracy, and material flow for the production floor.

• Operate and manage the HOMAG intelli
  
  Store system safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and/or work order material pick lists to ensure correct materials and specifications are followed.
• Load, monitor, and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Use Wood Store software for programming and operation of related processes.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and notify maintenance when necessary.
• Track and record material usage and coordinate with inventory control.
• Assist with material counts, stock checks, and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Support production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring materials are properly stored and handled.
• Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of machine operation and workflow efficiency.
• Unload delivery trucks when needed.
• (Other duties as assigned)

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• $18-$23 an hour BOE

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) or more years of experience operating CNC machines (SCM, HOMAG, or similar) in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating HOMAG intelli
  
  Store or similar automated storage and retrieval systems preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC G-Code preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and setup.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and programming.
• In-depth knowledge of wood machinery.
• Strong understanding of sheet goods and finishes, including particle board, MDF, plywood, TFL, and HPL panels.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of basic mechanics and mathematics.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and materials management practices.
• Ability to interpret 3D drawings and orthographic projections.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to noise levels consistent with a millwork manufacturing environment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
