Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts

Compensation: $16.50 – $24.50 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance premiums or per‑hour premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicles, keep them clean, perform pre‑operational inspections, secure keys/fuel cards/money at all times.
• Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management and report maintenance, accident, or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day, clock in/out per company policy.
• Pursue additional duties such as customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, errands, handling core returns, checking in stock orders.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and eligibility per company requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Operating other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
