Key Responsibilities:
- Market, lease, and manage apartments in alignment with company policies and Fair Housing standards (including AB 1482 and related regulations).
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain positive resident relationships.
- Greet prospective residents, conduct tours of model units and community spaces, and showcase the benefits of our property.
- Guide prospects through the application process, responding promptly to online leads, phone inquiries, and walk-ins.
- Work to maximize occupancy and rental income using effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the property, local market, and competing communities.
- Accurately prepare leases, collect deposits/fees, and ensure compliance with leasing paperwork requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect traffic, leasing activity, and resident information.
- Conduct regular unit inspections and oversee move-in/move-out processes.
- Support planning and execution of resident events and community engagement activities.
- Audit lease and renewal files for compliance and coordinate with the Regional Manager as needed.
- Submit and track service requests, and assist with general office, model, and common area upkeep.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties as needed to support property operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Yieldstar and Yardi property management software
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, AB 1482, and California landlord/tenant regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic to intermediate math proficiency
- Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems
