Brian Cox Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC estimator with a minimum of 5 years industry-specific experience who can provide both conceptual and plan and specification bids. We are looking for someone who is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, detailed, and a good communicator both internal to the company and externally with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conceptual budgeting
• Design Build estimating
• Plan & Spec estimating
• Provide detailed budget & estimates
• Material and equipment take-offs
• Obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Incorporation of plans, specs & BOD's into estimates
• Review of subcontractor bids / scope of work requirements
• Proposal development and submission
• Interview as part of the team to build the project

Requirements

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Quotesoft abilities a plus.
• Must be detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to meet deadlines, and work in a very fast paced environment
• Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, especially during the bid process.

Proficient in the following systems

• Chilled water systems
• VRF - air cooled and water cooled
• Water Source Heat Pump Systems
• VAV
• Specialty (dry rooms, labs, clean rooms, etc)

Salary Description

$100000 - $150000 / year
