Job Description:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Equine Intern Veterinarian to join a busy, well-equipped equine hospital offering both ambulatory and in-clinic care. This  internship provides structured mentorship across general practice, sports medicine, internal medicine, and emergency caseloads, supporting you as you transition from university into confident, independent practice. You will be involved in the full spectrum of equine care, from routine wellness visits to more complex diagnostic and treatment plans.

Qualifications Needed:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, with eligibility for state licensure
• Genuine interest in equine practice, including both ambulatory and hospital-based work
• Commitment to learning, taking feedback, and building clinical confidence during the internship year
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with veterinarians, nurses, and support staff
• Strong work ethic, good organization, and a compassionate approach to patient and client care
