Fountains at Millbrook – Maintenance Associate
The Fountains at Millbrook is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Associate to join our facilities team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and presentation of our community, with a primary focus on apartment turnover and ongoing general maintenance operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Prepare apartments for new resident move-ins efficiently and to company standards
- Perform repairs including painting, drywall patching, fixture replacement, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing/electrical work
- Complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
- Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, lighting, appliances, and other building components
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Be available for on-call snow removal, including nights, weekends, and early mornings as weather conditions require
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues during assigned on-call periods
- Assist with snow removal, salting, and winter preparedness
- Support exterior maintenance and general grounds upkeep as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as needed to support daily operations
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction or other trades is preferred
- Working knowledge of paint & drywall repair, light plumbing & electrical work, basic carpentry and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Professional and respectful communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call and weekend schedule
