Fountains at Millbrook – Maintenance Associate

The Fountains at Millbrook is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Associate to join our facilities team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and presentation of our community, with a primary focus on apartment turnover and ongoing general maintenance operations.

• Prepare apartments for new resident move-ins efficiently and to company standards
• Perform repairs including painting, drywall patching, fixture replacement, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing/electrical work
• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, lighting, appliances, and other building components
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Be available for on-call snow removal, including nights, weekends, and early mornings as weather conditions require
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues during assigned on-call periods
• Assist with snow removal, salting, and winter preparedness
• Support exterior maintenance and general grounds upkeep as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as needed to support daily operations

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction or other trades is preferred
• Working knowledge of paint & drywall repair, light plumbing & electrical work, basic carpentry and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Professional and respectful communication skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical labor
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call and weekend schedule
