The Housekeeping Associate plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and guest‑ready showroom and warehouse environment. This role supports the overall guest experience by ensuring all public‑facing and operational spaces reflect the high standards of the Ashley Furniture brand. This is a full time role, with a scheduled 40 hours per week. The hourly rate for the position is $18–$20 per hour.

• Ensure showroom, warehouse, restrooms, parking lot, and all common areas are clean, safe, and guest‑ready.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and general custodial tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of non‑selling areas (e.g., warehouse, utility rooms).
• Report furniture damage to the Visual Merchandising Team and assist in resolutions.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, and ensure careful handling of all products.
• Assemble furniture in accordance with work instructions and quality/safety guidelines.
• Support furniture movement, lighting adjustment, and accessory placement for floor moves and store events.
• Maintain showroom presentation per the Visual Merchandising Manual.

• Perform minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, carpentry), painting, and general upkeep.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are used and maintained properly to support workplace safety.

• Collaborate with the Visual and Sales teams to ensure a seamless, high‑quality guest experience.
• Follow standard operating procedures and promote accountability and teamwork.
• Support store initiatives, special events (e.g., VIP visits, Grand Openings), and regional support as needed.
• Standard schedule: 30 hours/week; flexible to include weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak periods.
• Availability to travel to assist regional stores as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping/janitorial experience.
• Prior warehouse or retail experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull items exceeding 100 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Neat, professional appearance with strong guest service orientation.
• Effective communication and basic troubleshooting skills.
