Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in New York with a focus on nephrology patients and alternating weekend requirements.
Responsibilities- Work on a Med/Surg unit with a nephrology patient population
- Night shift hours are 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule involves 3 shifts per week and alternating weekends
- Floating may be required to other medical-surgical floors
- Previous experience with med/surg nephrology patients is preferred
- Local candidates within 60 miles are allowed at a reduced rate
- First time travelers will be considered
- Scrub dress code information not specified—confirm with the facility prior to start
- Returning employees may require additional review before assignment eligibility is determined
- Active NY RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
- Two standard or above average professional references from prior year in current discipline or specialty
