Registered Nurse

12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, weekdays only

Starting pay at $39/hour, depending upon experience

This is an on-site role for a Registered Nurse based in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures, administering medications as required, assisting physicians during procedures, and monitoring patient recovery. Additionally, the Registered Nurse will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, sterilizing and maintaining equipment, and evaluating patient responses to procedures while adhering to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), preferred.
• Proficiency in patient care, including assessing, preparing, and educating patients for medical procedures.
• Experience in handling and maintaining medical instruments and maintaining infection control protocols.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a healthcare team.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to respond effectively to patient needs and emergency situations.
• Previous experience in an endoscopy unit or outpatient surgical environment is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
