Human Edge Health is seeking a Travel Med-Surg RN for a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital, Level 2 Trauma, in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a 12.5-hour night shift, every other weekend, no on-call, 36 hours/week assignment.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend

• Location:
  
  Poughkeepsie, NY

• Setting:
  Acute Care Hospital, Level 2 Trauma

Responsibilities / Float Areas

• Float to all Med/Surg floors, ED holds, Legacy Annex (Observation Unit), and surge areas

• Provide care for patients with: chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, drains, feeding tubes, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/vascular devices, wound vacs

• Blood/blood products administration; cooling/warming blanket management

• Telemetry interpretation

• Use of Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS & ACLS

• 5+ years of acute care experience
