Job Summary

We are seeking a well‑trained Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) in the inpatient psychiatry division at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of clinical accomplishments in the treatment of patients with serious mental illness, and will provide services to adults, including triage, diagnostic evaluations, follow‑up care, prescribing, and individual counseling and group treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities also include reviewing patients’ medication records to determine the appropriateness of the existing medication regimen.

Training & Licensing:
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry, and a valid New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner.
